The Central York Hackathon (“CYHacks”) promotes teamwork, creativity, and the interest of computer science in many people in the York County area. Students interested in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) from all over the county are invited. This will allow everyone the opportunity to participate and give everyone a chance to improve their computer science skills.

Our event was held on January 21st, 2017, at Central York High School in our school’s Library and Learning HUB from 8am-8pm. CYHacks 2017 was open to students who are in 7th grade through college. The event was available for teenagers and adults who were interested in computer science, and/or students who wanted to try it for the first time.
