The date for CYHacks has been set and will take place on Saturday, March 16th, 2019 from 8 am until 8 pm. Register and find additional information at https://cyhacks.devpost.com.
The learners ranged in age from 4th grade through High School, Girls Who Code members from Harrisburg and Hershey, and other students from Eastern and New Freedom. CYHS iTeam members arranged donations worth over $1,000 for food and prizes. They offered seminars on classroom technology, video, Arduino, 3D printing, and computer take-apart. Brain breaks included a Super Smash tournament and Magic:b the Gathering. Special sponsor guests joined us, including Connor DeStefano, Harrisburg University Admissions Counselor and Chris Coulson of Coulson Technology who offered a cybersecurity seminar.
